I used to be a graphic designer, now I am a copy editor for a marketing firm. I have always enjoyed functioning with information processing systems and am trying to learn computer code in my spare time (which there is never enough of lol).

      Thruout the film, I was momentarily jarred by many of the same things that have been discussed here, but for the most part, I overcame them as my expectations progressed. Even the over zealous depiction of commercialism or the over controlling were accepted as being a important part of the story.But there one little issue that (oddly enough, I guess) irritated me. I had no way to go back and watch it again, but I’m pretty sure that when the Colonel was killed, he took his hands off the robot controls, trying to remove the arrow/bolt. Yet, with the Colonel’s death, the robot TOPPLED OVER! I would have expected such a machine just to simply stop moving and stand there.

      Avatar was a great movie, I just watched it a few day ago. I don’t usually go to the theather because I get nervious around a lot people but I think I’ll give this one a shot because people are saying that it’s even better on the big screen, I think it might be in 3D. Anyway the movie Avatar get two thumbs up from me.

      Avatar is a awesome movie experience. Note: I said experience, not movie. The plot was a bit thin and rehashed, but the actual 3d feel and beauty of the world definately makes up for it. Can’t wait to see what James Cameron will come up with next!
