Dinamic XML

Postby ModelosPR on Thu Sep 24, 2009 7:23 pm

Hi,

I'm creating the playlist on the fly via ASP. That works with one video, but when I try to load a different video, it loads the same video as before, it seems that the player caches the previous video.

So then I tried not to use an XML playlist but make a player for one video, again, the player is created on the fly:

<script type="text/javascript" src="swfobject.js"></script>
<div align="center" class="style3" id="flashcontent"></div>
<script type="text/javascript">
var so = new SWFObject('mwplayer.swf','player','655','520','0');
so.addParam('wmode','opaque');
so.addParam('quality','high');
so.addParam('allowfullscreen','false');
so.addParam('allowscriptaccess','always');
so.addParam('flashvars','playerOpts=playListPath*^<%=mytitulo%>^<%Response.Write(GetLink(myVideo))%>^<%=screenshot%>*s');
so.write("flashcontent");
</script>

When render on the page, everything looks fine:

<script type="text/javascript" src="swfobject.js"></script>
<div align="center" class="style3" id="flashcontent"></div>
<script type="text/javascript">
var so = new SWFObject('mwplayer.swf','player','655','520','0');
so.addParam('wmode','opaque');
so.addParam('quality','high');
so.addParam('allowfullscreen','false');
so.addParam('allowscriptaccess','always');
so.addParam('flashvars','playerOpts=playListPath*^PRHFW - Otoño 09 - Noveles^http://mpr_video.s3.amazonaws.com/09_03_LisaThon.f4v?AWSAccessKeyId=14ZNE00BKD8CYCP9R702&Expires=1253820347&Signature=3FHAzx%2FfqhVzhBNJ2TZvkUu%2Bbbs%3D^09_03_Next.jpg*s');
so.write("flashcontent");
</script>

However, the video never loads. Please note that the URL expires, so if you want to test this go to:
http://www.modelospr.com/mpr/vd/t/index3.asp?i=13

You can view sourse and get a fresh video URL.

I really want to buy this player, but I cant seem to get to work.

Hi,

Thanks for your support in our software.
The link you provided cannot directly open the video, it shows:
<Error>
<Code>AccessDenied</Code>
<Message>Request has expired</Message>
<RequestId>47096143FF652BD8</RequestId>
<Expires>2009-09-24T19:25:47Z</Expires>

</Error>
Maybe your flash video server denied to access, please test you video link and make sure it could access to the video.

Hi,

The link is dynamic, it's only good for 6 minutes or so.

If you have Google Chrome, you can put this on the URL area: view-source:http://www.modelospr.com/mpr/vd/t/index3.asp?i=13 from the code you can extract a valid video URL. Just look for: "http://mpr_video.s3.amazonaws.com/09_03_LisaThon" and you should be able to get the entire valid URL.

I have test this and the video downloads if I copy and paste the valid video URL in the browser, you may tried it as well.

So the problem is else where in the player code.

Hi,

What does this URL http://mpr_video.s3.amazonaws.com/09_03 ... rByMm0g%3D return? Does it return a video or XML file?
