The Hurt Locker Lands 9 Oscar Nominations and Wins 6
Posted on March 17th, 2010 36 commentsThe Hurt Locker is a 2009 American war film. It follows a United States Army Explosive Ordnance Disposal (EOD) team during the Iraq War.
The title is a colloquialism for being injured in an explosion, as in “they sent him to the hurt locker”,or for “a place of ultimate pain”. It dates back to the Vietnam War, where it was one of several phrases meaning “in trouble or at a disadvantage; in bad shape.”
It is a controversial movie in despite of the fact that it wins 6 prizes from up to 9 nominations on the 82nd Oscar Academy Awards held in Mar, 07th, 2010.

This Teri’s list is the recipe to save. It will list the store name, purchase validity, discounted prices, amount saved etc for your reference. The color Blue in the list means the items are for stockpiling, while the color Green means the items are free, you only have to pay the sales tax.
And it’s very easy to be a part of this Grocery Game. Go to their website and become a member, start with the four-week trial version first and just enjoy the free information that can help you to save a lot of money.

Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince
Posted on July 14th, 2009 53 commentsTomorrow(Jul, 15th, 2009), the 6th film in the popular Harry Potter film series-Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince-will be released!
This 2009 fantasy-adventure film is based on the novel of the same name written by J.K. Rowling and Harry Potter series is probably the most successful and the longest sequel film in the history.
Personally I just read a gossip about three main characters in the movie: Daniel Radcliffe as Harry Potter, Rupert Grint as Ron Weasley and the beautiful girl Emma Watson as Hermione Granger, they all grown up fast and just attended a press conference of this new film Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince in London. It was raining hard but our three stars still kept cool and beautiful. From the picture, you can clear see that Rupert and Emma are much taller than our “Harry” and that’s what the producer worried. He said “Harry is probably the shortest in our team now.”
Come on, man, Harry Potter fans won’t care about his height and he is always the Prince Charming in their hearts.
Regarding the plot of the film, keep it as a secret first and tomorrow you will find out!
